Regular maintenance is easy and important to keep your camper box in good condition. This may include cleaning the interior and exterior. If you do a lot of dirt road driving, periodically check your straps, securing points, nuts and bolts. Lubricate any moving parts in your camper box, such as hinges, slides or locks, with a silicone spray or other appropriate lubricant. And finally, when you’re not using your camper box, store it properly to prevent damage or wear. Cover it with a tarp or other protective covering, and store it in a dry, cool place.
