- Introduction
- This Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy is only valid for products produced by The Camper Company.
- This Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy has been developed to ensure the accurate and clear information to the clients.
- This Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy forms part of the agreement between The Camper Company and its customers. This Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy should be read together with the website Terms and Conditions (if applicable).
- Warranty
- A 2-year Warranty applies to all The Camper Company products, provided that they have been operated and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer‘s instructions and applicable regulations. The Warranty starts from the date of purchase and is valid only for the first buyer. The Warranty is non-transferable.
- In the event that a product is defective, please contact the THE CAMPER COMPANY reseller you have purchased the The Camper Company product from.
- All THE CAMPER COMPANY products being returned for warranty, must include a copy of the invoice for the original sale. Warranty approvals will not be granted if an original invoice or copy of an invoice is not provided.
- The Warranty applies to damage caused by latent material or manufacturing defects or damage caused by such defects. It does not apply to parts subject to wear and tear, such as drawer slides, or to third-party products, such as fridges, which fall under the specific manufacturer’s warranty. Damage caused by improper handling, failure to follow the operating instructions and unauthorized modifications are excluded from the Warranty.
- This Warranty excludes problems caused by normal wear and tear including, but not limited to, scratches, dents, tears, or aesthetic oxidation of surfaces, natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use, commercial use, accidents, or unlawful vehicle operation. Your legal rights are not limited by this Warranty.
- No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions beyond THE CAMPER COMPANY’s control including, but not limited to, modifications or repairs not performed or authorized by THE CAMPER COMPANY, misuse, overloading, or failure to assemble, install or use the product in accordance with THE CAMPER COMPANY’s written instructions or guidelines included with the product or made available to the purchaser originally. Please note ratchet straps should never be used and damages caused by the use of ratchet straps are not covered under our warranty.
- Subject to the limitations and exclusions described in this warranty, THE CAMPER COMPANY will remedy defects in materials or workmanship by repairing or replacing, at its option, a defective product without charge for parts or labor. In addition, THE CAMPER COMPANY may elect, at its option, not to repair or replace a defective product but rather issue to a purchaser a refund equal to the purchase price paid for the product or a credit to be used toward the purchase of a new THE CAMPER COMPANY product.
- A Warranty repair shall not extend or renew the Warranty period. Liability for defects of products under Warranty shall expire unless they have been exercised during the Warranty period.
- Disclaimer of Liability
- Repair or replacement of a defective product or the issuance of a refund or credit (as determined by the camper company outfitters) is a purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty. Damage to a purchaser’s vehicle, cargo and/or to any other person or property is excluded.
- This warranty is expressly made in lieu of any and all other warranties, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- The Camper Company’s sole liability to any purchaser is limited to the remedy set forth above. In no event will The Camper Company be liable for any lost profits, lost sales, or for any consequential, direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages or for any other damages of any kind or nature.
- Returns
- At The Camper Company, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a flexible returns policy that allows you to return your item(s) for a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase.
- After 14 days, non-warranty related returns are at the SOLE DISCRETION of The Camper Company. Read more about warranties in clause 2.
- If the reason for your return is not because of a The Camper Company error, shipping costs incurred by The Camper Company may be deducted from your refund. Please note: if you return an item and did not originally pay shipping costs, the shipping cost incurred by The Camper Company will be deducted from your refund.
- Exchange
- If you would like to exchange your item(s) for something else, please return the item(s) to us for a refund and place a new order for the product you want. All items must be in new, resalable condition, including all original packaging and hardware/accessories.
- When returning products, please note that The Camper Company can not be held liable for items lost in transit. We recommend using a carrier that provides tracking and insurance, and clearly indicating your The Camper Company invoice number on the shipping label.
- Refund
- After 14 days, non-warranty related returns are at the SOLE DISCRETION of The Camper Company. Products must be shipped to our warehouse and will be checked. If your returned product has been checked and the products are not in a new, re-sellable condition, a repackaging, restocking, and/or damaged goods fee may be deducted from the refund or the product will be shipped back to you. We strongly urge you to repackage the products with care. If you need advice on how to re-pack the gear, please contact us.
- It generally takes 3 – 5 days after the package arrives at our warehouse for your return to be processed and a credit to be issued. As soon as the return is processed you will get an email confirmation.
- Change-of-mind or incorrect choice
- If you have changed your mind or made an incorrect choice and have paid already, chances are good your order is already being prepared for shipment. Most of our orders ships the same day!
- If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, we will cancel your order and process a full refund.
- If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, please follow our Return Policy. The cancellation will have to be treated as a Return in line with our Return Policy.
- Orders which are REFUSED AT DELIVERY will be processed as a return.
- Items can run out of stock or be discontinued without warning, and we may not be able to fulfil orders for that item. We will do our best to keep you informed of any unexpected delays, stock shortages or discontinued items.
- For custom products, if you cancel your order after the manufacturing process has begun, a fee to cover the costs incurred up until the date of cancellation will be deducted from your refund.
