We are a South African business passionate about helping people get more out of their vehicles, whether that's a weekend camping trip, a family holiday, an overlanding adventure, or simply keeping everyday gear organised.
Over the years, we've had the privilege of helping hundreds of customers transform the way they use their SUVs, bakkies, vans, and adventure vehicles.
Where It All Started
Like many good ideas, The Camper Company started with a simple problem.
Camping and travelling often means carrying a lot of gear. Recovery equipment, camping supplies, tools, cooking equipment, clothing, fridges, and countless other essentials quickly turn a vehicle into a cluttered and frustrating space.
We realised there had to be a better way.
Instead of permanently converting vehicles or building complicated camper setups, we focused on creating practical, removable, plug-and-play camper boxes and drawer systems that could instantly improve organisation and functionality.
Our goal was simple:

Our team carefully assembles, tests, and inspects each unit before it leaves our workshop.
We don't believe in producing products that simply look good in photos. We build products that need to perform in real-world conditions, whether that's a dusty gravel road in the Karoo, a family camping trip along the Garden Route, or a cross-country overlanding adventure.

When a customer contacts us, we focus on understanding how they use their vehicle.

Once we understand their requirements, we recommend the most suitable solution from our range.
Because our systems are designed as plug-and-play units, installation is generally quick and straightforward, allowing customers to enjoy the benefits immediately without major vehicle modifications.
